SEALEA was formed in October 2012 after agreements between the South Australian Livestock Exporters’ Assoc (SALEA) & Victorian Livestock Exporters Assoc (VLEA) to merge, after considerable consultation between both chapters & their respective members. A new constitution was drafted & accepted. Both the former chapters were & the new entity is a member of Australian Livestock Exporters' Council(ALEC). .
